[Hermann shoves half-hearted and quite late in the conversation, which is a clear indication of his good mood, so Newt can only laugh at what Hermann says] But he's always obsessively keeping track of time...I mean, I had to make him sleep because he almost stayed up for several days because he just loves time soooooooo much. [grinning, widely, pressing his nose against the side of Hermann's head to breathe him in.]

[ A huff, though there's a clear effort in it, and amusement fueling it. ]

I -- he is not obsessed with time. That isn't what it was about, I'm sure.

[ His hand hand lingered where it shoved, and as Newton turns his face to inhale, he slides his hand along Newton's arm, to his neck, his cheek, cupping it. ]

[Newt's grin widens at Hermann's slight slip, but then his hand is against Newt's cheek and he's turning his head to kiss Hermann's palm, nuzzling affectionately.]

Okay, he's really into be being super precise, then. How's that? [his grin spreads again, this time against the meat of Hermann's palm]

[ With the combined assault of Newton's brushing kiss, the spread of his grin, his corrected tease --there's no stopping the growth of his own smile. He ducks his head, attempting to suppress it. ]

[Hermann ducks his head, and Newt tilts his, curious, leaning over--at which point he catches the edge of that smile, and he can't help but grin, once he realizes Hermann is smiling.] Woah, hey, no fair--[and he's scrambling over the back of the couch to plop himself next to Hermann, sitting facing him on his knees, toes tucked under his butt, already reaching for Hermann's chin, gently]

[ Newton goes over the couch back, all rambunctious, too young energy. It frees Hermann's hand, but he has to dip his head lower still, fighting a widening smile. Normally he'd have reprimanded him for it, for climbing like a monkey or a child.

Instead, he bats half-heartedly at his reaching hand. ]

[Newt can't help but laugh, trying to dodge Hermann's batting at his hand] No way! C'mon, let me--[and finally he succeeds in tucking his finger under Hermann's chin, trying to gently turn his head towards Newt]. Hey, handsome. Eyes up here.
